I love how music can be such a personal experience. You could ask 50 different people about one song and it can mean different things to each of them. And that relationship can become so personal that sometimes you forget that other people actually listen and know the song, especially if the band itself is not completely…I feel like mainstream isn’t the right word, but you know what I mean. The kind of band that you never hear on the radio. The band/song you only ever hear through the privacy of your own headphones. It not until you go to or watch a concert that you realize that the music is so much bigger than the little secret playing through your headphones. And the greatest thing is that this realization doesn’t ruin the music for you, if anything it makes the experience more powerful
