So I just saw The Avengers for the third time in five days! And I have to say, my favorite thing about the movie is that almost every single time Loki is on screen, Tom Hiddleston always ends up smiling… and it’s adorable!!

#this is monsters and magic and nothing we were ever trained for #two simple human beings without shields or superpowers or scientific infections #who are not geniuses who cannot build themselves weapons to wear #their bodies are the weapons. their skills are the weapons. they are their only weapons. #they were not trained for this but they fight it anyway #they made a pledge to fight it but for different reasons #he’s a soldier. he sounds like himself when he wants to fight. #she’s a spy and not a soldier. she fights because she owes him her life. #and more than that too #dracov’s daughter #sao paulo #the hospital fire #she got compromised. she got red in her ledger and it’s the same shade as her blood. #when spies are compromised it means their covers are blown #loki shakes her because he blows her cover—just for a moment but he does blow it open #barton told him everything #clint is her weak spot. he’s the way in to see all the things she fears. #which is i don’t actually know if loki was prioritizing bruce most of all or just trying to make her afraid #because the only thing that makes natasha afraid in this entire film is the hulk #and clint would know that #loki wants to tear the avengers apart from the inside and he doesn’t care how he does it #so if he can do it through playing on natasha’s greatest fears that’s what he’ll do #and she doesn’t question it and asks bruce to remove himself immediately #and that is the story of how deep this relationship goes #she got caught she had her cover blown she got manipulated even as she manipulated because loki played on the thing she feared most #learned from the person who knew her best
